Come visit one of the longest running community gardens in the metro Phoenix area.

The Scottsdale Community Garden was established in 1976. Situated on 6 acres in the northeast corner of the Scottsdale Community College campus, more than 50 individuals tend 20’x30’ plots there, and more plots are available.

This community garden is a great opportunity for a new gardener to get started. Learn how to join in, or just come see an example of a successful community garden model. The Resources for Health Roots & Shoots youth group tends four plots in this community garden and is completing the Junior Master Gardener curriculum this year.

Please come prepared to be outside. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses, and bring water and snacks as needed.
