Sept 25, 2010 9:00am - National Public Lands Day (NPLD) Event at BRCES - Pre-registration is required. Thousands of volunteers in every state will volunteer to work in a coast-to-coast effort to improve & enhance our treasured lands on this national day of caring for the lands. The Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship (BRCES) is proud to be a part of National Public Lands Day 2010. On September 25, 2010, starting at 9:00am, volunteers at the BRCES will be planting trees, collecting native seeds, maintaining trails, collecting trash, and repairing stream banks.
