Edible Mushroom Cultivation—Transforming Firewood into Food

Justin West will offer a workshop in shitake mushroom log cultivation. It will cover the bioloby and ecology of fungi, their importance in forest ecosystems and various techniques for home-scale cultivation of edible species. Participants will come away with an inoculated hardwood log and the skills needed for years of gourmet mushrooms.
