Materials Available: Rain barrel with a removable lid - $45. Parts for converting the rain barrel - $12 - $25, (depending on your preferences). Instruction and Materials Sheet - Free.
Have you always thought about collecting rainwater when Arizona pours? Chip Satterlund is an expert on rainwater harvesting and the methods used to harvest the rain. In this workshop you will learn how to build your own fully functional, 55-gallon rain barrel to put into immediate harvesting use. Bring your own barrel (available at feed stores), or purchase a barrel from Chip at the workshop.
