1st Annual FACILITATING THE NATURE / CHILD REUNION CONFERENCE

Mountain Park Environmental Center, in collaboration with the Exercise Science Health Promotion and Recreation Department at CSU-Pueblo, is pleased to announce the 1st annual Facilitating the Nature / Child Reunion Conference. This day-long conference is designed for parents and educators of children ages toddler to high school.
Choosing from several informational sessions, you will learn:
• Hands-on activities and lessons that use Nature and the outdoors
• How to connect outdoor education to educational standards
• The connection between Nature education and children’s physical & mental health, ADHD, obesity, & creativity
• How Nature education can improve children’s educational experience & academic performance
• Today’s children need Nature experiences to become tomorrow’s environmental stewards and activists
